Liteville H-3 Mk2

The 301 designed as a hardtail mountain bike. It is as versatile and variable as our legendary Liteville 301; it is our unmistakable reaction to the demand for a classic mountain bike with genuine Liteville genes.
The Liteville H-3 Mk2 is available as a frameset and as a Factory Machine.

TEST RESULT

The magazine MountainBIKE has had a closer look at the all-new Liteville H-3 Mk1 built as a B+ hardtail in its 2/2016 edition.

“…and so eventually, it almost receives the best possible ranking in our test, yet only almost. The reason is simple: the Liteville H-3 without any doubt is a superior bike, however not for every type of rider. The distinct handling of the hardtail is one reason, which is the result of the low front of the bike. In switchback corners, for instance, it requires a strong hand, yet thereafter, it boasts with extraordinary precision. Despite its overall length, a manual or Bunny Hop is no challenge whatsoever and even in jumps and up in the air, it reacts calculably at all times. On top of this, the bike is able to deeply impress in tough downhill riding: when common hardtail bikes are no longer controllable, the H-3 copes with whatever you through at it.

Put in a nutshell: Boom! With its H-3, Liteville succeeds in inventing a new dimension for hardtail riding. Downhill, it performs almost on the level of an All Mountain full suspension bike, while uphill, it comes up to the expectations one has looking at a hardtail – despite its shallow geometry and its wide balloon tires."

DETAILS OF THE H-3 MK2

EIGHTPINS variable seatpost interface

  • Low weight and fully integrated in the frame design

  • Huge adjustment range (up to 220 mm)

  • Easy to handle and fully mechanical construction for reduced maintenance

  • 33 mm diameter and thus particularly high torsional stiffness without "bottle neck design"

  • No need for a seatpost clamp

ISCG 05

  • BSA 73 mm bottom bracket housing with ISCG 05 chain guide socket

Low Direct Mount

  • Low Direct Mount front derailleur socket allows for one- and two-speed drivetrains

Internal Cable Routing

  • The shifting cables for the front and rear derailleur as well as the brake hose for the rear brake and the hose for the variable seatpost are fully integrated in the main frame and the chain tubes

  • The cable and hose exit is placed directly above the rear derailleur and the rear brake caliper for a most direct connection

Worksfinish

  • The H-3 MK2 is available in raceblack anodized and with our raw surface WorksFinish

B+ Ready

  • The Liteville H-3 is compatible with tires as wide as 3 inch and 27.5˝ B+ tires thanks to its wide clearance. The thick tires allow for massiv traction and riding comfort on the highest level

THE PRINCIPLE OF CONTINUOUS AND RELENTLESS EVOLUTION

With all Liteville frames we design, the principle of choice is the one of continuous and relentless evolution, or put differently: step-by-step improvement. We kept ourselves from design gimmicks right of the start and instead concentrated purely on function, weight and durability of our products. It might be the case that you will not see the differences between different evolutionary stages. Yet you will notice and experience their improved function, reduced weight and thus improved handling and performance when riding.

GEOMETRY OF THE H-3 Mk2

Reduced to the maximum with the Liteville Plus: Long travel forks, wide tires and a 10-years warranty. The H-3 combines the capable geometry and material dimensions of the Liteville 301 in a durable hardtail mountain bike design. This is how a hardtail bike is created that generates maximum fun on any given trail.
