Tips:
  • Talk to your powder coater before you take it apart. Not all companies coat forks at any time.
  • After disassembly only send in the lowers.
  • If you take apart your fork to get it coated think about new bushings and seals and maybe a necessary.
  • If you want to spare yourself the disassembly, you can get it painted at any good body shop (about 150 EUR) with acrylic paint. Before you start either procedure, look at the warranty and all instructions from the manufacturer.

Prices (as a guide):
It costs, depending on the part, between 25 EUR and 80 EUR, forks up to 150 EUR. Lead time is about 3 –4 weeks.

All prices and times are only approximate ! You need to contact the powder coaters and paint shops to get definite quotes and we do not assume any responsibility for our tips!
