The positioning on the bike has a direct influence on the riding characteristics of a bike. That is why the Liteville 101 has a frame design allowing for sizing according to frame length.
Easy and logical
Decisive are the contact points between rider and bike – the positioning of hands, feet and rear end. Everything in between exists only to connect parts like fork, seat, bar and so on.
Therefore we chose an oversize design for the 101 as well, with all frame tubes, including the seat tube, having very large diameters. In conjunction with the small and stiff frame triangle it makes sizing in frame lengths possible.
Positioning of the top tube is the same with all Liteville frame lengths. Thanks to the long, large-diameter seat post (34.9mm) the seat can always adjusted to the correct seat height.
In XL and XXL frames the seat tube is a little longer than in XS, S, M and L frames. This has only optical and stability reasons. Through the same position of the top tube in all frame lengths it is possible for tall riders with shorter legs to use a long frame without compromising standover clearance. At the same time, riders with long legs and shorter torsos can pick a shorter frame corresponding to their upper body length and still maintain optimum seat height.
For all geo-specialists
In direct comparison to the Liteville 301 the seat tube of the Liteville 101 is 30mm longer. that is the result of the 30mm lower bottom bracket. The 30mm are added at the bottom and not the top, resulting in the same standover clearance as the Liteville 301 with room for and additional bottle cage.
